Sungjoo merchandising (CEO Kim-Sungjoo) and UK leading retail group Marks & Spencer made an agreement of renewing its selling right in Korea and signed a 10-year contract.The contract was made by CEO Kim-Sungjoo of Sungjoo group and CEO Marc Bolland of Marks & Spencer at Marks & Spencer Headquarters in UK on Feb 10th
Christine Lagarde, managing director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), visited Korea for the first time on December 4, 2013. Throughout her stay in Korea, Lagarde emphasized the importance of women in society and in the workforce, sharing her views on how to promote women’s participation in the economy. Lagarde held meetings with President Park Geun-hye, Deputy Prime Minister Hyun O-seok, and president of the Bank of Korea, Kim Jung-su. In addition, she also attended the Women Leaders Banquet and a town hall meeting at Seoul National University.
